Interactive Stage MAGIC SHOWSMatthew King's interactive stage magic shows combine astonishing magic, modern mentalism, mind reading, audience participation, and refined comedy to create an experience that engages the entire room. Rather than simply watching a series of illusions, guests become part of the performance, creating spontaneous moments of surprise, laughter, and genuine connection. Every show is tailored to the audience, venue, and occasion. From an intimate performance for a smaller group to a full stage production for hundreds of guests, Matthew can adapt the presentation to fit the event. Depending on the venue and production needs, performances can incorporate professional sound, theatrical curtains, larger illusions, and highly visual magic designed to play for an entire audience—or a streamlined setup when space and production time are limited. |
Magic, Mentalism & Audience ParticipationNo two audiences are exactly alike, and Matthew's shows are designed with that in mind. His repertoire allows each performance to blend different styles of entertainment, moving between visual magic, impossible predictions, mind reading, clean comedy, and interactive routines involving members of the audience. Depending on the event and show format, guests might witness an impossible Rubik's Cube routine, objects vanish and reappear in unexpected places, thoughts apparently revealed, predictions come true, or even a suspenseful roulette-style routine involving a borrowed cell phone. These aren't simply demonstrations performed at the audience—they are experiences created with them. With more than 30 years of performing experience, Matthew understands how to adapt the pace, material, and audience participation to the people in the room. The result is a polished show that can entertain executives at a corporate dinner, attendees at a conference, guests at a private celebration, or an audience filling a theater. |

Matthew King is a magician member of the Academy of Magical Arts, the organization headquartered at Hollywood's legendary Magic Castle. His connection to the Castle began much earlier: at age 17, Matthew was accepted into the prestigious Magic Castle Junior Society, where promising young magicians have the opportunity to develop their craft alongside others who share a serious dedication to the art of magic.
Today, his membership provides an additional benefit he can sometimes extend to clients. Matthew is able to issue invitations to The Magic Castle, giving eligible guests the opportunity to experience one of the world's most celebrated destinations for magic in person. Hidden within a historic Hollywood mansion, The Magic Castle features multiple showrooms, intimate performance spaces, dining, and magicians performing throughout the evening. Because admission is generally limited to members and their invited guests, receiving an invitation provides access to an experience that isn't ordinarily available simply by purchasing a ticket. For clients who have enjoyed Matthew's performance and want to experience even more magic, a Magic Castle invitation can be a memorable extension of the experience.
